Biography

Sara Alavikia is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist currently living in Los Angeles. She has pursued her Master of Fine Arts Degree at the California State University, Northridge, where she completed her undergraduate studies. The primary influence in her work explores shifting identities, cultural dynamics, femininity, beauty, and purity. She was a selected artist to represent the LA Art Association at the Objects of Art Exhibition 2017. She has also shown at LAUNCH LA, TAG Gallery, 2nd City Council Long Beach, JK Gallery, UCLA Kerckoff Gallery, and won the Dean’s Purchase and Graduate Thesis award from CSUN, the Art Council Scholarship, and other awards and nominations.
